Lista dos 50 melhores é encabeçada por Evangelion para o anime e Slam Dunk no mangá

Evangelion, o anime mais votado

A Agência de Assuntos Culturais, uma divisão do Ministério da Educação, Cultura, Esportes, Ciência e Tecnologia do Japão, divulgou os resultados de uma pesquisa realizada para se saber os melhores animes e mangás da história.

Para a escolha de melhor anime, a pesquisa teve uma lista de escolha, e uma parte livre. Da primeira, figuraram nos três primeiros: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind e Laputa: Castle in the Sky. Na segunda, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Cowboy Bebop e The Twelve Kingdoms

Já para a escolha dos melhores mangás, só houve a lista de escolha, dentre os quais os primeiros foram: Slam Dunk, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Dragon Ball e Fullmetal Alchemist.
